As a corporate tenant, landlord, agent and broker, he has been involved in multiple transactions involving millions of square feet of office space nationwide. His experience and knowledge makes him one of the most well-known, respected and effective brokers in New York City.

Prior to joining Mohr Partners, Lew made an impressive name for himself as the Executive Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis and Vice President at Silverstein Properties, Inc. Mr. Cowan was also the Managing Director of real estate at American International Group (AIG) and the Edward S. Gordon Company. Before his real estate career, Lew Cowan worked for Xerox as a Senior Sales Executive

During his tenure at Silverstein Properties, he was an integral part of a team responsible for over 6,000,000 square feet of commercial office space in Downtown Manhattan, and his last assignment was as a member of the due diligence team who assisted in the successful bid for control of the World Trade Center.
