Michael is the Southern California Managing Partner for Mohr Partners. He has been working in commercial real estate since 1980. His real estate experience has included strategic portfolio management, brokerage, development, property management and investment sales.

Michael started his career with the Grubb & Ellis Company, achieving the exclusive status of Vice President, a designation given only to the top ten percent of the firm’s brokers nationally. Michael was a Top Producer four times and Top Office Producer twice, representing his clients on over a billion dollars of contracts.

His Mohr Partners career has extended to over a decade. During his tenure Michael has been named “Partner of the Year” while managing 3 offices in California. His group has been responsible for the management of dozens of corporate portfolios in excess of 3,000 leases. His team created strategic plans and customized real estate processes for his portfolio clients focusing on tangible savings of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Michael’s real estate career has also included unique and complicated projects on entitlements, corporate sale-leasebacks, build-to-suits and entitlements. During his career he has transacted real estate contracts in every major metropolitan city in the United States.

Michael lives in Newport Beach with his wife Shannon and two children. He is active on the Board of Directors, Finance Committee and the Audit Committee of United Way of Orange County and serves as the Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America Troop 37 in Lido Isle Ca.
