Mohr Partners Expands San Francisco Office, Appoints Catherine Howard as Managing Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (April 23, 2014) — Mohr Partners, Inc. announces the expansion of Mohr’s San Francisco office, appointing Catherine Howard as Managing Partner. She joins Valerie Concello, CCIM, Managing Partner, who founded Mohr’s San Francisco office in 2012. Ms. Howard and Ms. Concello collectively bring over 40 years of combined experience in commercial real estate to their clients and will co-lead the San Francisco office.
Ms. Howard brings more than 15 years of experience in the corporate real estate industry and focuses primarily on tenant representation, strategic planning and real estate development for her clients which have included Fortune 500 firms such as AT&T, Exxon, IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Wells Fargo. She has negotiated and managed acquisitions and dispositions while creating a transaction management process for corporate and government agency clients.
Prior to joining Mohr Partners, Ms. Howard was a Vice President at DTZ where she managed the strategic planning, acquisitions, dispositions and development for many clients. Before her tenure at DTZ she was Vice President of Corporate Services at NAI Global, where she managed the multi-market acquisitions and dispositions contract for the United States Postal Service.
Ms. Howard has held executive and senior-level positions at several real estate and consulting firms, and was co-founder of Madison Advisory which evolved into the Corporate Services Business Unit of CB Commercial as CB/Madison. She also developed the branding and marketing plan for Kenmark, securing and maintaining many successful client relationships including the headquarters relocation and renewal strategies for Echelon Corporation and Kikkoman International.
Ms. Concello launched Mohr’s San Francisco office in 2012, bringing over 25 years of commercial real estate experience representing the interests of corporate real estate, non-profit and early stage start-up clients in lease, sublease and purchase transactions. She is known for her dedication to her clients, expert market knowledge, due diligence, strategic thinking and personal attention to the needs of her clients.
Before joining Mohr Partners, Ms. Concello was President of Ronin Commercial Real Estate, a strategic real estate and advisory transaction services firm working with a broad range of corporate clients. She was previously a founding partner of Belvedere Associates and the Northbridge Group, a certified minority business that is focused on government contracts and helps advise clients on a far range of strategic, facility, organizational and workplace issues.
Ms. Concello began her real estate career with Charter Commercial Real Estate, a division of Marcus and Millichap. Charter was one of the first firms to focus solely on representing the tenant’s side of a transaction. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a LEED Accredited Professional and served as the 2012 President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) San Francisco. Ms. Concello holds a BS in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
